Camanche — A fundraising breakfast will take place in Church of the Visitation’s parish hall from 8 a.m. to noon March 1. Menu includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls, coffee, milk and juice. Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children ages 6-12 and free for children 5 and younger.

Davenport — Pack the gymnasium night at Assumption High School is slated for fifth- to eighth-graders. They are invited to a free, pre-game, pizza party in the Assumption cafeteria from 6-7:30 p.m. Feb. 20. The evening includes an eighthgrade boys team scrimmage, shoot for cash, drawings for free giveaways and more.

Fairfield — “Stones in the Field,” a traditional Celtic/Irish concert, will be held March 6 at 7.30 p.m. at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre. Tickets are $12.50 for adults and $6 for children 12 and younger. LeClaire — Knights of Columbus will sponsor a fish fry on Ash Wednesday at Our Lady of the River Parish. Fried fish, baked fish, grilled cheese, French fries, onion rings, baked potatoes, seafood gumbo, coleslaw, cornbread and desserts will be served. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children 10 and younger.

Marengo — St. Patrick Parish religious education department will sponsor a parish Mardi Gras party on Saturday, Feb. 21 after the 4 p.m. Mass. Gumbo, red beans and rice and Kings Cake for dessert. There will be games for children.

Preston — Ss. Mary & Joseph Parish of Sugar Creek/Bryant will hold an omelet and pancake breakfast, bake sale and silent auction Feb. 22 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Preston Town Hall.
