EWTN has brought people to God

Mother Angelica, a humble, not fancy person from a very humble background, was chosen by God to do something so exceptional. She accomplished something that many people benefit from. Some people can only find fault with her work that she has done for the greater honor and glory of God.

I am a pre-Vatican II Catholic. The changes brought about by Vatican II weren’t necessary for me to follow the teachings of the Catholic Church. But the changes resulted in greater participation in the Mass. I have so enjoyed the Mass with all of the glory given to God and the participation of those attending Mass. Since Vatican II, which was misinterpreted by many and many went to extremes with changes, priests and nuns have left their vocations, birth control became useful and the teaching in religion classes changed. Today fewer people are attending Mass, and I doubt very much that many of my 17 grandchildren will remain members of the Catholic Church. But they are there to be hatched (baptized), matched (married) and dispatched (buried).

I enjoy EWTN very much and am proud of the work and success it has had in bringing people to God and back to God. I wish others could see it that way. My goal is heaven, with EWTN’s help.
