A bit of musical chairs will take place at Assumption when Andy Craig, current principal, becomes the school’s president July 1.
Craig will replace retiring President Linda Duffy, who has served as Assumption’s first president since July 1, 2002. Duffy will remain in a part-time volunteer role.
Moving into the principal’s chair will be Chuck Elbert, who has served as principal at St. Edmond Catholic Middle/Senior High School in Fort Dodge for the past 10 years. Early in his career Elbert spent several years at Wahlert High School in Dubuque.
