The deadline for grant proposals for the Operation Rice Bowl grants and Catholic Campaign for Human Development grants is May 29. A portion of each of these collections stays in the Diocese of Davenport and is awarded to local organizations that meet the goals of these collections on a local level.
Operation Rice Bowl grants are available to nonprofit organizations that provide direct service to address hunger and poverty within the Davenport Diocese. Campaign for Human Development grants are available to groups, primarily church-based, that support community organizing, training and advocacy in areas related to poverty and justice within the diocese.
