How could government improve health care?

Facebooktwittermail

In the article “People of faith call for health care,” published July 2, 2009, Sister S. Campbell was quoted as saying, “Health care is a ministry — it is a faith-based action.”

When insurance companies and monetary gain began to drive health care, quality of care declined. The individual’s welfare was no longer the main goal.

So how does Sr. Campbell and those who think like her believe quality of health care will be improved if management is even further removed and put in the hands of the biggest business — government?
