Sister Mary Therese Kane, BVM (Thomas Ann), 81, died Aug. 20 at Marian Hall, Dubuque. Burial was to be in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
She entered the BVM congregation on Sept. 8, 1945. In the Diocese of Davenport, Sr. Kane taught first grade at St. Paul Elementary School in Davenport, 1957-62.
She also taught in Dubuque and Seattle. She was director of religious education in various parishes in the Diocese of Joliet for nearly 30 years.
