‘Thinking of Priesthood Day’ set for Iowa City

IOWA CITY — A “Thinking of Priesthood Day” will be held Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Newman Catholic Student Center on the campus of the University of Iowa. This event begins at 10 a.m. (registration is from 9-10 a.m.) and concludes at 5 p.m. with Mass and dinner following. 

Sponsored by the vocation offices of the four dioceses in Iowa, this day is for men ages 17-45 who might be considering a possible call to priesthood. This day will include informal presentations and discussions, sharing from vocation directors of the four dioceses of Iowa and seminarians.  Father Jonathan Fassero from St. Meinrad School of Theology in Indiana will lead the discussions.
