IOWA CITY — The annual Iowa City Regina Catholic Education Center wreath and garland and poinsettia sale, in conjunction with the Butter Braid frozen pastry sale, is ongoing. Sponsored by the Regina Parents in Support of the Arts (PISA), the sale features wreaths, indoor and outdoor garland, poinsettias and frozen pastry dough from Butter Braid, an Iowa company. Proceeds benefit the drama, music, band, orchestra, journalism, speech and visual arts programs at Regina Catholic Education Center for students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

Wreaths come in 24” and 30” sizes, all with pine cones and a bow. Garland for indoor as well as outdoor use is available, as well as mailbox sprays and a candy cane made of balsam boughs.  Poinsettia plants, from Sueppel’s Flowers in Iowa City, come in six-inch pots, in three colors, and each plant has a decorative sleeve.  Butter Braid pastry dough comes frozen and is offered in nine varieties, including various fruit fillings, Bavarian crème, cream cheese and cinnamon rolls.

Orders must be placed by noon on Tuesday, Nov. 17, and will be ready for pick-up at Regina High School on Saturday, Dec. 5, from 10 a.m. until noon.  Order forms may be obtained at www.icregina.com.
