IOWA CITY — The Regina High School drama department presents the play, “Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus” in the Regina Elementary gymnasium in Iowa City on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 8 at 2 and 7 p.m.  Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $5 for senior citizens, students and children. Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door. To purchase tickets or for more information, call (319) 338-5436.

The play, written by Andrew Fenady, was inspired by a simple, poignant letter written more than 100 years ago by 8-year-old Virginia O’Hanlon to the editor of the New York Sun in which she asked, “Is there a Santa Claus?”
