Students reach out to community

Congratulations to the eighth-graders for taking the spirit of Lourdes to the Quad City community.  Lourdes eighth-grade students planned various activities for the Tessa’s Place Halloween party for children with special needs Oct. 29.

The students were responsible for planning the activities, purchasing prizes and helping with the games.  Mark Smith, the director of Tessa’s Place, said the games and activities were well planned and the Lourdes students were very friendly and engaging while working with the children.

Thank you to teacher Marcia Walsh for joining eighth-graders on this trip.
