Funeral services and a Mass of Christian Burial for Patrick W. Dickinson, 60, a resident of Davenport, were Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Davenport. Cremation followed services, with private family burial taking place Dec. 30 in Holy Family Cemetery. Visitation was Dec. 28 at Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport. Patrick passed away Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009, at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus, surrounded by his loving family following a brief illness.
Patrick Wayne Dickinson was born Dec. 27, 1948, in Davenport, a son of Lester Leroy and Barbara (Epping) Dickinson. Pat was an individual with special needs and special talents. His gift of unconditional love was a source of joy to all who knew and loved him.
Memorials may be made to the family to establish a memorial in Pat’s name.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara; sisters, Michelle Broyles, Davenport, Debra Dickinson, Davenport, Rebecca (Greg) Fisk, Weatherford, Texas, a brother, Jeff (Tami) Dickinson, Eldridge; and many other loving relatives.
Pat was preceded in death by his father, Lester, and his paternal and maternal grandparents. May they rest in peace.
