Funeral services and Mass of Christian Burial for Christine Sullivan, 63, a resident of Davenport, were Wednesday, Jan. 13 at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Davenport.

Burial was in Oakdale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Tuesday at the Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. Christine passed away Friday, Jan. 8, at Genesis East Medical Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either a Hospice of your choice, Sisters of Providence at St. Mary of the Woods College, Terre Haute, Indiana.

Christen Gravino was born Sept. 19, 1946 in Davenport, the oldest of 11 children of Michael A. and Rose (Fulli) Gravino. She was united in marriage to Terry E. Sullivan, Aug. 16, 1975.

Christine worked many years in the Davenport school system as a music teacher at Madison Elementary for 18 years, Washington Elementary for 11 years and Jefferson Elementary for one year.

Survivors include her husband over 34 years Terry, Davenport, here siblings, seven sisters, Marianne Hillegrass, Jacksonville, Beach, Fla., Lisa Lindsey, Laramie, Wyo., Jeanine Gravino, Savoy, Ill., Teresa (David) Ehrlich, Blacksburg, Va., Michelle (Jim) Manley, Rockford, Carol (Duke) Znaniecki, Champaign, Ill., Lia (Josh) Strahan, Aurora, Colo.; three brothers, Dave Gravino, Macomb, Ill., Stefan Gravino, and Marc (Laura) Gravino, all of Rockford; one brother-in-law, Tim Sullivan, Simi Valley, Calif., two nieces and two nephews as well as numerous other extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents.
