MUSCATINE — Ss. Mary & Mathias Parish will host a parish mission, “Reality Living,” with presenter Mike Patin Feb. 9-11. All presentations will be from 6:30-8 p.m. at St. Mathias Church.

The first session, “Amazing Grace,” will take place Tuesday, Feb. 9. “We live at a breakneck pace, often forgetting to take time to grow in our relationship with God,” parish promotional materials say. “We need to ask…are we people of the Amazing Race, or of Amazing Grace?” A free meal will be served at 5:30 p.m. in Gannon Hall.

On Wednesday, Feb. 10, “Extreme Makeover: Faith Edition” will aim to help students in grades nine to 12 renovate their relationship with God.

On Thursday, Feb. 11, “The Apprentice” will take place for people of all ages. “There is a job for each of us,” parish promotional materials say. “A special, unique call to join in the work and business of a wonderful enterprise. Instead of ‘you’re fired’ Jesus invites us to be consumed by a holy fire of love as we follow him.” A free meal will be served at 5:30 p.m. in Gannon Hall.
