Why Catholic? workshops slated

Seven locations in the Davenport Diocese will host faith formation workshops in “Why Catholic?,” a journey through catechism.

This year’s theme is prayer — its many methods and one purpose. Explore the rich tradition of prayer, experience new ways to pray, grow in prayer life and discover ways of making prayer easier.

Mary Wieser, director of faith formation and education for the Diocese of Davenport, said anyone is welcome to attend the workshops to learn about prayer methods and purpose.
