Frank Wessling’s editorial about passing the collection basket offended me, too! Some of us prefer to write a check once a month rather than contributing weekly in dribs and drabs. No one should judge another parishioner’s failure to drop a dime or a dollar on a particular day. Basket passing is a relic of an earlier time.
