DAVENPORT — An afternoon of cultural diversity for families and people of all ages will include musical and dance performances, food from around the world, and children’s activities, crafts and games.

The St. Ambrose University Cultural Diversity Festival will take place Sunday, March 28, from noon to 6 p.m. in the Rogalski Center, located at the corner of Ripley and Lombard streets, one block west of Harrison Street. Admission to the festival is $3 for adults; children age 12 and under will be admitted for free. BeeGlobal, St. Ambrose’s international student club, is sponsoring the event.

A main stage area will allow people to relax and enjoy musical and dance performances. Food and merchandise from around the world will be sold in the ballroom. In the children’s area, children will receive a passport to be stamped as they “visit” various countries by playing games, and creating make-and-take crafts such as Aboriginal Dot Art, Blarney stone-making and marigold necklaces.
