Prince of Peace to present play

CLINTON — Prince of Peace Players will present “Anything Goes,” a musical written by Cole Porter, directed by Tom Jankowski, choreographed by Sheryl’s Dance Academy and featuring music directed by Marguerite Clark.

The play revolves around singer Reno Sweeny, played by Megan Morthland; her pal Billy Crocker, played by Isaac Jankowski; high society member Hope Harcourt, played by Paige Whitney; and public enemy number 13, Moon Face, played by Noah Strausser.  The musical follows their madcap antics aboard an ocean liner from New York to London.

The rest of the cast includes Clarissa Marten as Mrs. Harcourt, Ellen Vander Bleek as Bonnie, Nick Jensen as Mr. Whitney, Keeton Fuller as Sir Evelyn and Jacob Jankowski, Caleb Kaczinski, Selena Vogel, Roman Meyers, Erin Vander Bleek, Nathan Vander Bleek, Krista Atkinson, Anna Black, Adam Luckritz, Katie Anglese, Kirsten Heeren, Allyson Naeve, Sydney Schreiber, Megan Mulholland, and Haley Chapman as Reno’s Angels.

“Anything Goes” will be presented on March 25, 27, and 28.  The March 25 performance will include a dinner theater catered by the Corner Deli at 6 p.m. The cost is $16 and reservations may be made by calling the school at (563) 242-1663.  Additional performances will be Saturday, March 27 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 28 at 2 p.m. Cost is $4 for people 18 years and younger and $6 for adults.  All shows will set sail at Prince of Peace Schools, located at 312 S. Fourth St. in Clinton.
