CLINTON — The Pregnancy Center is sponsoring a Walk for Life in downtown Clinton April 24. The event is an opportunity to show support for life and to help raise financial donations from family, friends and co-workers. The event will take place at the Riverside Band Shell. Sign-in is at 8:45 a.m., and the two-mile walk begins at 9 a.m.
Please contact the office at (563) 242-6629, Monday to Friday, or stop in from noon to 5 p.m. at 240 N. Bluff Blvd., Suite 105 (Bluff Professional Building) to pick up a Walk for Life brochure. Brochures are also available at Words of Wisdom in Fulton and Fitzgerald’s Pharmacy in Morrison, Ill. The walk is held rain or shine.
The Pregnancy Center has served the Gateway Area for the past 24 years, providing physical and emotional support to women who may be pregnant. It provides free pregnancy testing, limited obstetric ultrasounds, sexual health education, parenting classes and post-abortion support.
