Institute on ‘Pastoring Multiple Parishes’

IOWA CITY — This year’s annual Clergy Institute on June 7-9 will be about “Pastoring Multiple Parishes, the Priestly Life and Ministry.” The presenter will be Mark Mogilka, author of the book “Pastoring Multiple Parishes.” The sessions on June 7 and 8 will also be open to those involved in parish planning.

The institute will be held at the Quality Inn in Iowa City beginning at 1 p.m. Monday, June 7 and ending at 4:30 p.m. The sessions on Tuesday, June 8 will be from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The cost for those attending from parishes in the Davenport Diocese will be $25, which covers three refreshment breaks and lunch on Tuesday.

Those who will attend from diocesan parishes are asked to send payment to the Diocese of Davenport, 2706 N. Gaines St., Davenport, IA, 52804, c/o June Institute with name(s) of those who will attend, as well as their parish name and city. Reservations are due by May 21. Numbers are needed for available seating and lunch on Tuesday.
