Davenport — A healing Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Cathedral July 16. Confessions begin at 6 p.m., praise music at 6:40 p.m. and Mass at 7:15 p.m. All are welcome.

Davenport — Afterglow Ministry teams meet for prayers for healing and personal needs Saturdays after 4 p.m. Mass at St. Alphonsus Church.

Fort Madison — A pro-life rosary will be recited on the first Saturday of the month, July 3, on the sidewalk opposite Planned Parenthood at 22nd Street and Avenue H after 8 a.m. Mass at Sacred Heart Church.

Richmond – Little Flower Court #1181 of the National Catholic Society of Foresters is the host court for the Davenport Diocesan Association of Catholic Foresters meeting to be held at the Holy Trinity Parish Life Center on Tuesday, July 13, in Richmond.  Registration and business meeting is at 9 a.m.  Bishop Martin Amos will celebrate Mass at 11 a.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic Church.  Dinner by reservation will be served at noon with a short program to follow. Knoxville — St. Anthony Parish will hold its annual picnic July 11 beginning with Mass at 10:45 a.m. The event will be held at 3M Park.

Sugar Creek — Ss. Mary & Joseph Parish will hold a lawn social with a beef and pork dinner July 11 from 3-8 p.m. Cost for adults is $6.50 in advance, $7 at the door. Cost for children ages 6-12 is $4. Cost for children 5 and younger is free. Kim and Rose Strait will provide violin music and the Iowa Corn Fed Girls will perform.

West Liberty — People from Huacao, Michoacan in Mexico are celebrating their patron saint, St. Bonaventure, July 11. A procession will begin at 11:30 a.m. from downtown near the bakery to St. Joseph Church. The rosary will be recited during the procession. Noon Mass will honor St. Bonaventure. After Mass, free food and drinks will be served at the fairgrounds.
