DAVENPORT — A generous donation of four clubhouse outdoor seating tickets to the Oct. 17 Green Bay Packers vs. Miami Dolphins game in Green Bay, Wis., has been received by the Fr. Ken Martin Golf Outing & Dinner committee. The tickets will be auctioned off at the annual event’s dinner at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Davenport on Wednesday, Sept. 1, at 5:30 p.m.
The proceeds from the annual golf outing are deposited to a special account held through the Assumption Foundation for K-12 Catholic Schools. Families who are facing crisis situations and have children attending any of the K-12 Catholic Schools in Scott County may apply for the scholarship grants through a school’s principal.
