Davenport — St. Anthony Parish is beginning a fall session of Grief Share, a program for people experiencing the death of a loved one. At the meetings, participants will experience loving support and learn valuable information to help them. Each session is self-contained, so people may join at anytime. A family-style meal will be served from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. Menu includes oven-baked steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, green beans, applesauce, homemade wheat roll, pie and drink. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children ages 12 and younger, and $1 for children 4 and younger. Davenport — St. Paul the Apostle Parish will hold its Oktoberfest Sept. 26 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. An authentic German dinner will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Denning Hall.
