Memorial services and Mass of Christian Burial for Humberto L. “Squeaky” Jimenez, 58, of Davenport, will be 10 a.m. Friday, October 15, 2010 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Davenport.
Inurnment will in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
Mr. Jimenez passed away Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Bettendorf Healthcare Center following an extended illness.
Humberto Lionel Jimenez was born June 16, 1952 in Davenport, a son of Humberto G. and Theadora (Saldivar) Jimenez.
Prior to his retirement due to illness, he had worked as a social worker for Family Resources, Inc.-Wittenmeyer, for over 30 years.
Survivors include his daughters Ellen (Cody) Meyer, Cedar Rapids, and Dara Jimenez, Washington D.C., Valarie Jefferson, Eldridge; granddaughter Lydia Meyer, Cedar Rapids; sisters Gloria Minor, Sterling-Rock Falls, IL, and Janet Reyes, Davenport; and brothers Richard (Melinda) Jimenez, and Michael (Barb) Reyes, all of Davenport.
His parents preceded him in death.
