Sister Teresita Kelly, OP, died Oct. 7 at St. Dominic Villa, Hazel Green, Wis.

She was born July 4, 1914, in Ottumwa. She made her first religious profession as a Sinsinawa Dominican Aug. 7, 1941, and her final profession Aug. 7, 1944. She taught at the elementary, high school and college levels for 32 years in Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin and was an artist-in-residence at the motherhouse for 21 years. Sr. Kelly devoted another five years to designing and supervising the art in Queen of the Rosary Chapel at the motherhouse.

The funeral Mass was held in Queen of the Rosary Chapel at Sinsinawa Oct. 11, followed by burial in the motherhouse cemetery.
