Student council offers new ideas for activities

This year the All Saints student council has some fantastic ideas. It is a team of 20 students and two staff members.

They meet twice a month. If needed, other meetings are held. The council’s mission is to serve the students and community with various activities during the school year. Representatives are voted in by their classmates at the beginning of the year. Grades three to eight are involved. Some activities discussed thus far are Red Ribbon Week in October, a food drive in November and dances for the junior high.

The council is a wonderful opportunity for students to be involved in a fun, democratic way of doing things at school.
