Last spring the Teacher And Parent Support (TAPS) committee held the first annual TAPS T-shirt design contest, for the fifth-grade students at Holy Trinity Catholic Elementary.

The idea was to design a T-shirt that kids could wear on field trip days so Holy Trinity students could easily be spotted in a crowd. The kids are also welcome to wear their shirts on dress-down days or Holy Trinity spirit days.

The winning design was that of Shianne Moeller, daughter of Kurt and Annette Moeller of West Point. Shianne’s T-shirt proposal was chosen from the more than 20 ideas submitted.

TAPS sold the T-shirts at Unpack Your Bookbag Night at the start of this school year to students, parents, teachers and staff.
