In reading a back issue of The Catholic Messenger, I found the tribute to Father Eugene Benda.
Somehow I had missed it the first time around. It brought back old memories. As a 14-year-old, he was an altar boy, with my cousin Leonard Mosinski, when Francis and I were married in January 1948 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in East Pleasant Plain.
He was a good priest. Rest in peace, Fr. Gene.
