IOWA CITY — Men of the Diocese of Davenport are called to a conference on prayer March 26 at St. Patrick Church.

“Prayer For Life” features speaker Father Francis Hoffman (a.k.a. Father Rocky). Fr. Rocky is the executive director of Relevant Radio. He is also the host for the popular morning segment “Go Ask Your Father.” Fr. Rocky will challenge men to sanctify their everyday Christian duties as a father, co-worker and friend through prayer.

Father Rudolph Juarez, pastor of St. Patrick Parish, will challenge men to pray for the grace to provide spiritual leadership to their families and to the Church. Fr. Juarez’s service as adjunct judge on the Marriage Tribunal and vicar for Spanish-speaking in the Davenport Diocese gives him perspective on family life, conference organizers say.

James Becker is a second-year Fellowship of Catholic University Students missionary at the University of Wisconsin. He will offer his insights on the importance of prayer as young people discern their life’s work.
