Grant writers bring in funds

In just more than two years, the grant writers at St. Joseph School have brought in more than $100,000 for the school! The money has been used to purchase the latest technology for classrooms. This includes LCD projectors and mimios; which allow a whiteboard to become interactive. The infrastructure was also upgraded to be compatible with today’s changing technology.

Grant money was also used to buy desks, lunchroom tables and a new roof.

The grant-writing team is now searching for ways to fund new bleachers, playground equipment, lighting and instant student assessment technology.

The team consists of Stacy Bloom, Chris Meyer, Warren Kizer and Jen Kizer.
