Kenneth Henry Krier, 88, died Feb. 22, 2011 at the Keokuk County Health Center in Sigourney, Iowa.

He was born September 13, 1922 to Henry M. and Christena Susan Wickenkamp Krier in Sigourney, Iowa. He attended Elmgrove #9 country school. On June 5, 1944 he married Anna Kathryn Hammes at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Clear Creek, Iowa.  They lived and farmed northeast of Ollie and farmed until 2009.  His passion in life was boat racing and his yearly Canadian fishing trips he took through 2009.

He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, American Power Boat Association, and U.S. Title Series.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Kathryn, four sons Richard (Beverly) Krier of Indianola, Jim (Mary) Krier of Ollie, Larry (Dianne) Krier of Cedar Rapids, Michael Krier of Ollie, one daughter Judy (Terry) Book of Hedrick, eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren.

Funeral service was at St. Mary Catholic Church. Burial was in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery Clear Creek.
