DAVENPORT — Rabbi Henry Karp from Temple Emanuel in Davenport will give a presentation at noon Thursday, Feb. 24, on his recent trip to Holocaust sites in Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic.
On Jan. 4, Rabbi Karp, along with Father Joseph DeFrancisco from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, led a two-week St. Ambrose Study Abroad trip of 20 students to Holocaust sites in Eastern Europe. The students visited Dachau, Theresienstadt, the Old Jewish Quarter of Prague, Auschwitz and Nuremberg. Rabbi Karp will speak about the trip and his impressions of his memorable experience.
The presentation will include a deli lunch for $5. Temple Emanuel is located at 1115 Mississippi Ave. in Davenport.
