Bring size 11 or 13 knitting needles, three six-ounce skeins of yarn (or a project in progress), and create a prayer shawl, a scarf or a gift for someone in need of comfort. Program leaders include Ann Green, a lay minister at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral and a private piano instructor. Anne Johnson is a fiber artist who has been knitting, spinning and sewing since childhood. Karen Brooke is a lay minister at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral and development director for the Sisters of Humility.

Participants will spend a day within the mystery of Mark’s story of the deaf and mute person healed by Jesus. They will share insights of how they hear and speak, and pray for the gifts of relationship. Bring your Bible and journaling book.
