Sister Darlene Hoch celebrates 60 years as SSSF

MILWAUKEE, Wis. — On June 18, 64 U.S. School Sisters of St. Francis and three associates will celebrate milestone anniversaries of service.

Sister Darlene Hoch, SSSF, celebrates 60 years as a School Sister of St. Francis. A native of Knoxville, she has a bachelor’s degree in education from Alverno College in Milwaukee.

She has lived her religious ministry in education, as a business manager and as a receptionist. In the Diocese of Davenport, Sr. Hoch taught at Public Junior High School in Knoxville  from 1968-74 and at Marquette High School in West Point from 1978-80. She served as a business manager for a doctor in Knoxville from 2001-07 and as a receptionist  since 2007. Sr. Hoch resides in Knoxville.
