Thanks for supporting Catholic education

It was great to see the article in The Catholic Messenger about Prince of Peace Parish in Clinton and how it is offering free tuition to kindergarteners of its parishioners next school year.

Father Ken Kuntz (pastor of Prince of Peace) was the pastor here at St. Mary’s for 16 years. One of his main goals was to keep Regina High School very strong.

When I was in high school at St. Mary’s in Iowa City, St. Mary’s of Clinton was one of the strongest Catholic schools in the state of Iowa — both in academics and sports! I am pleased to see the parish of Prince of Peace is trying to keep Catholic education in Clinton alive and active to this day!

Catholic education is a MUST in the state of Iowa! God bless you, Fr. Ken, and all of your parishioners for providing for God’s children.
