Funeral services and a Mass of Christian Burial for Donavon L. Keller, 80, a resident of Bettendorf, were Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Bettendorf. 

Burial is in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery, where the Davenport American Legion Post 26 will conduct graveside military services.  Don died Friday, June 3, 2011 at his residence following an extended illness.

Donavon Louis Keller was born on July 27, 1930 in Davenport, a son of Phillip and Angela (Kotton) Keller.  He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was untied in marriage to Margaret Lintz, September 1, 1956 in Riverside, Iowa.

 Don was a plumber for over 60 years working out of the local #25, retiring in 1992. Don loved traveling with his wife Margaret and they enjoyed many trips abroad over the years.

Memorials may be made to St. John Vianney Catholic Church.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 54 years, Margaret of Bettendorf,  and their children: a daughter, Mary Keller, Bettendorf and two sons, James Keller, Bettendorf and Stephen (Kathy) Keller, Cortland, IL, 3 grandchildren, Nicholas, Nathaniel and Dakota; and his nephews.
