Davenport — A healing Mass will be celebrated Friday, June 17, at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Con­fessions start at 6 p.m., praise music at 6:40 p.m. and Mass at 7:15 p.m. All are welcome.

Davenport — A Mass of Thanksgiving to celebrate the 25th jubilee of Father Chuck Adam will be held at 3 p.m. June 26 in Christ the King Chapel on the St. Ambrose University campus. A picnic reception will follow.

Davenport — Msgr. Robert Gruss will lead the fourth annual holy hour for fathers Monday, June 20, from 7-8 p.m. at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Adoration will be in the church instead of the adoration chapel. The hour is open to men, women and children to pray for fathers.

Davenport — The Sisters of Humility invite the general public to pray with them at 11:40 a.m. Wednesdays during a special Mass for peace. It will be celebrated in the Magnificat Chapel at the Humility of Mary Center, 820 W. Central Park Ave.

Iowa City — Centering Prayer groups meet from 7-8 p.m. Mondays at the Mercy Hospital chapel, and from 9-11:30 a.m. the fourth Saturday of each month at a member’s home. For more information, call Maureen Kelley at (319) 338-8284.

LeClaire – Father Joe Wolf will bless motorcycles and bicycles prior to the 5 p.m. Mass Saturday, June 25, and the 8:30 a.m. Mass Sunday, June 26, at Our Lady of the River Church. Refreshments will be served following both Masses.

Melrose — The Knights of Columbus of Albia sponsor a 24-hour adoration the first Friday of the month at St. Patrick Church in Melrose. Mass begins at 8 a.m., followed by 24 hours of adoration, and closes with benediction at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday. For more information or to sign up for an hour, call Tony Humeston at (641) 932-7709.

Sugar Creek — Ss. Mary & Joseph Parish will hold Sugar Creek’s 156th annual Corpus Christi Mass and procession Saturday, June 25, at 4:30 p.m. Mass will be followed by the procession to four outdoor chapels at 3218 110th St., Preston. Flower girls and carriers of streamers and banners will participate. Lunch will be served afterward in the parish hall.

Bettendorf — St. John Vianney Parish is offering caregiver support meetings on the second Wednesday of the month from 1-2:30 p.m. Janet Rubelmann, a parishioner of St. John Vianney, is the support meeting facilitator. Iowa City — An Advocacy Team meeting will take place Wednesday, June 22, at 5:30 p.m. at St. Patrick Church, 4330 St. Patrick Drive. This is the first team meeting following the May 21 Catholic Relief Services advocacy training. Everyone is welcome to attend and learn how to become a more engaged Catholic leader. RETREATS

Rock Island, Ill. — A women’s retreat, “O God, You Never Cease to Call Us to a New and More Abundant Life,” will take place at the Benet House Retreat Center, 2200 88th Ave. W., from Friday, June 24 at 7 p.m. to Sunday, June 26, at 1 p.m. Father Philip Davey, OSB, of St. Bede Abbey, Peru, will help participants explore the journey to abundant life through prayerful reflection. Clinton — The Ladies Auxiliary at Prince of Peace Parish will hold a bake sale in the church gathering space after all Masses June 18-19.

Clinton — The Pro-Life Committee at Prince of Peace Parish and the Knights of Columbus ask parishioners to return their baby bottles and donations for The Pregnancy Center at a table in Prince of Peace Church before Masses this weekend.

Davenport — The resale shop Cinderella Cellar, 230 W. 35th St., is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Kahl Home for the Aged and Infirm. Cinderella Cellar is operated by volunteers from the Catholic Service Board.

Welton — St. Anne Parish’s dinner of beef, chicken and ham will be Sunday, June 26, at Buzzy’s from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a salad bar, desserts and raffle. Cost is $9 for adults, $4.50 for children ages 5-12 and free for children younger than 5.
