Winifred “Winnie" Wright, 97 of Venice, Fla., formerly of Keswick and Sigourney, Iowa, died June 16, 2011 in Venice.

Winnie was born November 21, 1913, in Keswick. She was a member of the National Society of the daughters of the American Revolution, Myakka chapter, the chicago Area John Kinzie chapter of the United States Daughters of the war of 1812, and a life member of the society of Indiana Pioneers. She was a Roman Catholic, attending Epiphany Cathedral. Winnie retired from the Crime Division of the FBI in Washington, D.C. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters Ethel, Helen, Mary and Geraldine, and a brother Harold.

Celebration of Life Service will held 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Sigourney. Visitation will be from 1-2 PM on Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Sigourney.
