DAVENPORT — The following events are slated in September at Eagles’ Wings Retreat Center, 5816 Telegraph Road.
• A Lesson with Lunch will take place Sept. 8 at 11:30 a.m. at Eagles’ Wings Retreat Center. Following the lesson, those participating in Christian Listening will have an opportunity to practice their listening skills and learn a few more steps in listening.
• A Soaking With A Purpose prayer meeting will be held Sept. 9 and Sept. 23 at 7 p.m.
• A Healing Mass will be celebrated Sept. 13 at 1 p.m.
• The first in a series of healing ministry workshops will be held Sept. 17. Topics to be covered in the first workshop include the Scriptural basis for healing ministry, soaking prayer, who can pray and what it takes to be a disciple. Registration is $90 and includes a notebook for participants to keep for future workshops on healing. Bring a sack lunch. Snacks and beverages will be provided.
