Sabrina Fullhart shares the sign of peace with a resident of the West Point Care Center.

On the first and third Thursdays each month during the school year, fourth-, fifth- or sixth-graders from Holy Trinity Catholic Elementary have the opportunity to attend Mass with the Catholic residents of the West Point Care Center. Students serve as lectors, servers and singers during the Mass, celebrated by Father Dennis Hoffman.

Although the residents seem to especially enjoy the music provided by the students and music teacher Judy Peck, an important part of the celebration is when the students and residents get to interact during the sign of peace. This sharing of faith is a special time for young and old alike.
