God’s Acre Sale slated in St. Paul

ST. PAUL – The 60th annual God’s Acre Sale will be Saturday, Oct. 1, and Sunday, Oct. 2.

The charity auction begins Saturday night with the Holy Trinity Catholic junior class serving food starting at 5 p.m., followed by a performance of the Holy Trinity Doo-Wop Group at 6 p.m. The auction will follow and resume on Sunday at 11:30 a.m., starting with grain sales. A turkey dinner will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Baked goods and homemade candies will also be available in the country kitchen.

Raffles will take place throughout the day for cash prizes, including one $1,000 prize and two $250 prizes. Tickets cost $2.50 each. Winner need not be present to win.

A lunch stand with turkey sandwiches and homemade pies will be open in the afternoon and evening.
