As recently retired thanks to Jesus Christ, I am now free in January to attend the March of Life in Washington, D.C. I would like to present information to those in this area who might be interested in going.
Dubuque County Right to Life is once again organizing the trip. The buses depart Jan. 21 in the evening and return around noon Jan. 25. Upon arrival in Washington D.C. there is Mass at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception on Jan. 22 and the march is Jan. 23. The bus departs the evening of Jan. 24. The cost of the bus trip and lodging (four to a room) is $325. Meals are on your own or you may fast. I understand there are eight buses reserved and that they expect to fill all of them up. Pick-up may also be in Davenport. It is also first come, first served.
