CLINTON — The Clinton Franciscan Center for Active Nonviolence and Peacemaking has invited Father Peter Dougherty, founder of Michigan Peace Team, to lead a daylong nonviolence training workshop Nov. 12 at The Canticle, 841 13th Ave. N. He also will offer a public presentation, “Blueprint for a Nonviolent World,” at 7 p.m.
Michigan Peace Team is a group of trained persons based in Lansing, Mich., who have been present to defuse potentially violent situations around the world for nearly 20 years.

A donation is requested to cover the cost of the program and meals. The workshop will begin at 8:30 a.m. with breakfast and conclude at 5 p.m.
