A union for all

Facebooktwittermail

I have a dream of starting a union for everyone in America:

We must have a living wage; all will be able to use the power of their purchases to buy goods and services made in America; this will allow families to be able to use the power of their labor to pay for the things they need; we must have full employment; we will cause the free enterprise to work for all to allow the fair distribution of scarce resources; fair trade agreements, not free trade that simply exploits workers worldwide; trade agreements negotiated by the Union for All (UFA); profit sharing must be part of the contracts; at least four weeks’ vacation every year;  full-benefit package that includes a pension and health care for all; our pledge will be “we make sure that everyone gets what they want,” and this will lead to everyone getting what they want; we must be our brother’s keeper.

We now have about 11.9 percent of the people in a union. It is my goal that we get the other 90 percent to get the 12 things above. Some of the companies have trillions of dollars off shore. They need to provide a plan on how they will use the money, otherwise this money will be used to buy up profitable companies, close them and send the jobs overseas, causing more unemployment.
