Diocesan-wide young adult Mass, BBQ slated

Facebooktwittermail

IOWA CITY – All Catholic young adults are invited to St. Patrick Church July 15 for a barbecue, the kickoff event of the Davenport Diocese’s new Catholic Young Adult Network.
The afternoon will start with Mass at 3:30 p.m., followed by games, then a cookout at 5 p.m. Hamburgers, hot dogs and beverages will be provided; bring a side dish to share. During the informal gathering, CYAN leaders will share plans for an October young adult conference and seek attendees’ input and ideas for future events.
Catholic Young Adult Network is a collaboration of leaders throughout the diocese who look to provide more opportunities for young adults in the Catholic Church to know, love and serve God.
