Funeral service and a Mass of Christian Burial for Helen G. Hansen, 88, a resident of Davenport, will be 11:15 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2012 at the Kahl Home for the Aged, 1101 W. 9th Street, Davenport. Burial will take place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:45 until the time of the Mass on Thursday. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Ms. Hansen died Sunday, June 24, 2012 at the Kahl Home.
Helen G. Hansen was born on August 9, 1923 in Davenport, a daughter of George and Marie (Hanrahan) Hansen. She was a graduate of Immaculate Conception Academy.
Helen was a bookkeeper for Mace Chemical for 17 years. She was a former member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Davenport Business and Professional Women Association, and the Catholic Women’s League.
Memorials may be made to the Kahl Home.
She is survived by her friends and staff at the Kahl Home.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Margaret Hansen and Sister M. Helen Jean (Mary Elizabeth Hansen), CSC. May they rest in peace.
