WHEATLAND – The Sisters of Humility are offering a day for people to meet with them at their retreat center and learn about their life. “A Day in the Life of a Sister” will take place Sunday, Aug. 12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Our Lady of the Prairie Retreat, 2664 145th St.
Participants will get to know the way of life of the Congregation of the Humility of Mary Sisters, the mission and priorities of CHM Sisters, CHM spirituality and prayer life, and the experiences of Sisters who will join them for the day.
Participants will spend time in a quiet setting with time for prayer and reflection. They will see the labyrinth, prairie trails, nature pond, way of the cross, woods and wildlife.
A homemade lunch with organic and locally grown ingredients will be served.
