BETTENDORF — Cathy and Ken Miller had the opportunity to represent St. John Vianney Parish in Bettendorf and the Davenport Diocese at the One Table-Many Partners conference on Haiti solidarity in Washington, D.C., this past summer. They will share some of what was learned about twinning partnerships, short-term missions and micro enterprises during a presentation at their parish Nov. 29.
The program titled “Twinning Partnerships, The Road to Social Change” will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in St. John Vianney’s activity center.
This presentation is sponsored by the Haiti committee at St. John Vianney; however, the topics presented are relevant to the work of Catholic Relief Services around the world. Refreshments will be served afterwards.
The Haiti committee’s next medical mission is scheduled for February.
