Muscatine – Father Joseph Sia will present “A Journey Through Church History” on March 7 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Mazzuchelli Center. Participants will view a video about Father Marty Jenco, who was taken hostage in Beirut in 1985 while serving as director of Catholic Relief Services. He was held for 564 days but came to forgive his captors. The day will include reflection and prayer. The sacrament of reconciliation will follow a healing Mass at 1 p.m. Bring a sack lunch. Fort Madison – Father Philip Ryan will lead 40 hours of devotion at Holy Family Parish’s Sacred Heart Church March 7-10 at various times. The 40 hours will conclude Sunday, March 10, with a Eucharistic procession and benediction starting at 3 p.m.
Washington — Father Greg Bramlage will present the mission “Christ’s Healing Love” at St. James Church at 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, Monday, March 11 and Tuesday, March 12. The first evening will focus on deepening participants’ relationship with Christ. The second evening will focus on deliverance from evil. The final evening will include a healing prayer service and adoration.
