Jennifer Alongi, curriculum and instructional specialist for the Davenport Community School District, will serve as principal of Notre Dame Elementary School in Burlington for the 2013–14 school year.
She will also serve as director of professional development and director of curriculum for the entire pre-K-12 Notre Dame school system, which includes about 381 K-12 students and 70 preschoolers.
As principal she succeeds Bob Carr, who is retiring.
