Funeral services and a Mass of Christian Burial for Nga thi Dinh, 83, a resident of Davenport, will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 422 E. 10th Street, Davenport.  Visitations will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2013 and Friday, August 2, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. each evening, at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, 614 Main Street, downtown Davenport.  There will be an additional visitation Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. at the church.  Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport.  She passed away at her residence on Wednesday, July 31, 2013.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Nga thi Dinh was born on May 01, 1930 in Vietnam to Kim van Dinh and Hoa thi Nguyen.  She married Do van Pham in 1955 in Vietnam.  He preceded her in death on June 10, 2003.  Nga was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children; daughters,  Pham thi Duc of Vietnam, Pham thi Thu Huong of Davenport, Pham thi Lien of Indiana, Pham thi Ngoc Mai of Davenport; a son, Pham Minh Hai of  Florida; 7 grandchildren; and 1 sister who lives in North Vietnam.  She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.  May they rest in peace.
